So I have been having fun playing with my Adirondack Alcohol Inks! They are so much fun to put on my white Prima flowers. Here is an easy way to use these fun colorful inks.
First and foremost... To keep from having a huge mess, place a napkin or paper towel over your work area. Add a few drops of alcohol blending solution to your flower. Don't coat the flower just a few here and there. This will give you lighter and darker shades throughout your flower.
Second..... pick your color and just add a drops onto your flower. The ink will spread especially with the blending solution already on parts of it. When finished just dab a napkin on top to make sure all the excess ink is removed.
Here is what your finished flower should look like. See the different shades in the petals... This is caused by the blending solution.
Here is the finished product. I added another flower using a darker green and black brad. I also added some Glossy Accents on the tips to give it a shine.
Here is my layout using my flower and a sketch from sketchers:

Hope y'all enjoy your new and improved flowers!
