Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I hope that everyone had a great feast yesterday! I was able to spend it with my family. The girls had a blast playing with my nephew. They rode bikes and played in the yard until it was time to eat. We had so much good southern home cooked food! The best part is the homemade pecan pie with cool whip on top! 

I've been sitting her remembering when my girls were little that we didn't do much for Thanksgiving cause they wouldn't enjoy it as much as they now. Over the last few years it has become more and more fun for them. Especially this year because it was so warm outside that they got to run and play without all the jackets. I have been scrapping some old pics of them and they are getting so big too quick :( Here is last week's LGS sketch, but I just love this one! Simple yet versatile.

Sketch'n Time -11/14

It's been a long crazy weekend and I just realized it's Wednesday and I haven't posted the new sketch from LGS. We had sleepovers, bowling tournament, softball, and a school holiday.

I hope that everyone was able to play along with our blog hop as well! It is a great way to gain inspiration!

Blog Hop Challenge-Fall into Fall

Fall is such a beautiful time of the year, its when the leaves start changing colors and everything around us is beautiful. It is also the season of Thanksgiving, which reminds us to take a moment to reflect on all the things we are most thankful for.

So in celebration of the fall we are hosting a Fall Color Combo challenge. You are to use the colors below and create ANY project related to the Fall. It can be a layout, card, mixed media project or altered item. The sky is the limit! Once your project is completed, please return to LGS an upload your project using Mr. Linky.

You MUST use all of the colors in the picture (light blue, autumn red, yellow, brown, green)

Also as you hop along the way you will find clue words on each of the Design Team member’s blogs. Once you have gathered all the words they will form a quote related to Fall. Tell us that quote by emailing me at letsgetsketchy@gmail.com for an extra rak of scrap goodies!
