The 2nd challenge is officially up over at
About a Girl!!!! There is still time to enter the first one as well, if you haven't done so already. This challenge is all about using a sunburst or starburst whatever you want to call it. These have started to become a popular trend in the scrappy world. I'm not totally head over heels for them, but they do add some fun to a page. It took me some time to figure out how to make it just right. I decided to go digging in my photo album for a sketch. (I buy the cheap 4x6 photo paper and print out my fav sketches to keep in a photo album on my bookshelf) It is so easy to just grab and flip instead of hunting thru the folder on my computer.
I found this awesome sketch from
Creative Scrappers that I decided to use for this challenge! Definitely helped show the fun my daughter was having on the USS Alabama. You are more than welcome to use the same sketch for inspiration as well, but please give the credit to Creative Scrappers.
