It's time for another sketch from Let's Get Sketchy! I am loving this paper from my Hip Kit Club. It's September Skies by Heidi Swapp. I am definitely going to order the whole collection. The papers and accents are gorgeous! I actually played around with some guesso and stencils.

Angeline Canvas - 11/9

So a few days ago I posted a page I did for LGS. I loved the page so much that I decided to turn it into an art canvas to hang in her room.

I took a black 12x12 art canvas and started creating a similar background to what I had before. I took my 12x12 Heidi Swapp hexagon mask and began tracing with my silver pen.

I then took some pink metallic paper and punched it with my Creative Memories hexagon punch. The 1 1/4" fit almost perfectly into the hexagons I drew.

This sketch was a little tricky for me and not one of my favs. I have a very hard time dealing with small pics on a page. I also don't handle "white" space very well either. I honestly starred at this sketch for several week trying to figure out what to do with it. Well after rearranging my entire scrap room, I finally got the mojo and inspiration to take on this challenge. Honestly, I started with the sketch and just let the juices flow from there.

LGS - 10/23

I know it's Wednesday and the LGS sketch comes out on Mondays. I have been sick all week and was not able to get my blog post up on time this week. I was able to get my page done before I got sick. I was able to scrap the last 2 pics of Lilybug's bday photo shoot. She looks so grown up. Now I have to work on editing pics for our trip to the circus.

2nd Grade - 9/16

It's Monday again!!! School started a month ago and there's already so much going on. The girls are loving it this year and have all their friends still there. As a scrapper, I always take pics of the girls on their first days of school. I love seeing their excited/nervous faces.

Sand Castle - 7/15

It's Monday again! I love this sketch from Let's Get Sketchy this week! I have been dying to scrap these pics of my lilybug. When I saw this sketch, I knew it would be perfect for these pics. I had so much fun playing with EP Hello Summer collection. The Maple Thickers have started to become one of my favs. I just wish it had more than 3 colors...

Mother's Day - 6/15

Well it has been one of those crazy weeks.... I haven't had much time for scrapping this week, but I was able to get my DT page done for About A Girl! This was a tough one for me because I don't use a whole lot of bright colored papers. I prefer a more muted tone to my colors. But the great thing is, I joined the Paper Bakery Kit Club. I got their May kit in the mail last weekend and loved everything about it. Yes I was a little disappointed that it doesn't come with matching cardstock. This kit was so colorful and the flair was just awesome! I even used the washi tape from the packaging and the mason jar stamp as well.

Beachy Easter - 4/29

My Scraps & More always has daily challenges every month. They are tons of fun especially if you need a little inspiration or motivation. I decided to do some fun scrapping before getting to work on my DT stuff. On Mondays they host a scrap{lift} challenge. This one is from April 8th. I had fun using Michelle's page to lift. Made me use some white space and I also finally used my SC Mask!
