LGS - 10/23

I know it's Wednesday and the LGS sketch comes out on Mondays. I have been sick all week and was not able to get my blog post up on time this week. I was able to get my page done before I got sick. I was able to scrap the last 2 pics of Lilybug's bday photo shoot. She looks so grown up. Now I have to work on editing pics for our trip to the circus.

School time - 10/16

This month starts a new challenge blog!!! About A Girl and About A Boy have combined into 1 blog! It's now Boy Meets Girl. Here's the details on the new site...... Boy challenges will be the 1st thru the 14th and Girl challenges will be the 15th thru the end of the month. DT reveals will be on the 1st and 15th. So since I am on the girly DT I have a new page to show y'all!!!! 

This month's challenge is to add texture to your page. For me that is very hard. I don't use a lot of that kind of stuff. I did end up with this page. It's still growing on me, but not one of my fav. I need to get the hang of paint splatters first. lol.

Frabel Reimagined - 10/8

Yesterday was the first Monday of the month. So over at the Turtle the DT does a reveal! There were some pretty awesome projects for the reveal this month. Bev always manages to come up with some great sketches! I decided to use this sketch for some of my pics our last vacation when we visited with Bev. Frabel does some awesome blown glass sculptures. It was beautiful to see in the garden. Here are some of the ones on display inside a building at the garden. I ended up using a total of 12 pics on this 2 page spread! The great thing about sketches is you can make them your own.

3rd grade - 10/7

It's Monday again! Plus it's the first Monday of the month which means all new sketches and a whole month to play along! Also did you know that LGS is "printing" a magazine! They are getting ready to come out with their very first online issue!!! So exciting!

This week's sketch is a simple one, and with that it gives you a chance to add your own touches to it. The best part about simplicity is you can always add to it to make it your own unique page.

2nd Grade - 9/16

It's Monday again!!! School started a month ago and there's already so much going on. The girls are loving it this year and have all their friends still there. As a scrapper, I always take pics of the girls on their first days of school. I love seeing their excited/nervous faces.

Over at the Scrapping Turtle, I am doing today's Friday Inspiration. I have always loved Winnie the Pooh. There is always a lesson behind the stories along with wonderful quotes from him. This one definitely caught my eye.

Hope Anchors the Soul - 9/2

It's my 1 year anniversary over at Let's Get Sketchy!!! I have been apart of an awesome Design Team and love being able to create amazing projects for everyone to see!
