Breaking Dawn - 1/21

My girls absolutely love the Twilight series along with all of their friends! So I told Lizzie for her b-day we would go see the last movie. It came out a month after her b-day and she definitely didn't let me forget. So I went online and bought our tickets so we wouldn't have to wait in the long line on opening day. We caught the matinee so we saved some money. Her BFF, mom, and little brother also came along. They had so much fun watching the eventful movie!!! They are dying to go see it again.....

So I decided to use Let's Get Sketchy's Sketch for this fun memory. I also used a friends handmade embellishment kit (UmWowStudio).

Snow Lights - 1/18

Over at Colorful Creations, I was playing along with their Random Wednesday challenge. This was a lot of fun! I even got to use up some of my scraps and old papers! So the challenge is to make a "winter" page using SNOW in the title. Well we don't get snow down here. The few times we have it barely last an hour or so and the whole city shuts down out of panic. So I decided to use a pic from Bellingrath Gardens Magic in Lights. If y'all are ever down this way it is a gorgeous place to go. They have over 3 million light displayed throughout the gardens. 

The challenge also called for using 3 of a list of embellishments. I used vellum snowflake punches, pearl bling, felt Thickers, Let It Snow ribbon, and a Santa sticker

Hello.... - 1/16

Well I have been working on doing some scrapping for fun instead of DT work. I love being able to create beautiful memories especially helping others to do the same as well. I have a friend expecting her first baby soon!! I decided to start working on a baby album for her since they are so much fun and easy to do. I used a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap! I love their sketches and I finally found time to play along. I also got to use my Kreaxions punch too! Their punches are so versatile and fun to play around with.

Christmas - 1/9

Well the Christmas season is officially over :( That is one of my favorite time of the year. The great thing about it is that we can now scrap all those wonderful pictures we took during the Holiday Season!!! The irony is that all the Christmas stuff is on clearance! I absolutely love clearance sales!!! Well here is my Lilybug's first Christmas using this week's LGS sketch.

Reindeer Food - 12/31

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We have lots of traditions that the girls enjoy.  In my family, the Christmas season still goes on until Jan. 6 which is 3 Kings Day. The actual Christmas season doesn't begin until Christmas day with the birth of Christ. Well there are 12 days of Christmas after that which most churches call Epiphany. And no we aren't Catholic! Lol. Well enough about the Christmas technicals...... 

We had a wonderful Christmas here. The girls got everything they wanted with a few surprises especially Lizzie (who claims not to believe anymore). That's for another scrapbook page.... The girls got me an awesome photo printer for Christmas!! So I have been editing Christmas pics and printing them without having to leave the house!! Well one of our most favorite traditions is laying reindeer food out to help Santa's reindeer find our house. This year the girls went outside and tossed it all over the yard. They had a ball, but my camera was not enjoying all the motion going on. Lol.

I love being able to have a photo printer at home. It makes it so much easier to print pics as I want/need them. I can create pages as I'm inspired instead of printing a whole bunch and not using all of them. I have been working on a few old pics lately. I love using sketches to help get my mojo flowing.
