Hands on - 3/11

Every year the Sea Lab puts on an all day event for children during the summer. It's a special program to help teach them about our local Gulf waters. They offer it several times during the summer cause it fills up quick. The girls have been going for years and love it! I think I learn something new every time I go. lol. They even get to go out into the water and try to find some of the wildlife they learned about.

These are from part of the day with Lilybug. She got to look at all the cool animals that live in our waters. I also used the Midweek Mojo over at ScrapbookSteals! I love shopping their deals as well! Great prices on just about anything scrappy!!!

Our Tree - 3/4

It's another week at Let's Get Sketchy!!! The blog hop was fabulous this weekend!!! Welcome to all of my new followers! I hope that everyone is playing along for this month's awesome prizes!!! This week's sketch also involves a color challenge as well. It happens to be a Christmas inspired color palette. I tried thinking outside the box, but I kept coming back to my Christmas pics.

This year, the girls decided they wanted a better tree. We don't do real trees cause of all the mess to clean up and mommy's allergies can't handle them. lol. We bought a gorgeous 7.5 ft pre-lit flocked tree. This is the pic before we put ornaments up on it. It was like this for a few days. Just gorgeous without ornaments!

Ponder.... 2/25

Yesterday evening some bad weather was coming our way. I decided what better way to spend the evening than to SCRAP! I have been enjoying my new printer and love being able to pick out the photos I want to use for certain pages. Now I don't have a stack of photos lying around or managing to get shuffled out of order by the girls. I was playing along with My Scraps & More Sketches. This week's sketch had me thinking a little. I decided to not use the circle, but rather keep a more sharp, clean look to my page. After I got my papers down, I realized it was missing something. So scrappy friends came to the rescue to help! Bev helped alot as well with some ideas. So here is my final result....... I am very happy with how it turned out!

The Sketch:

My Page:
Materials:
Bazzill cardstock
Authentique papers
Momenta stickers
Fiskars border punch

Close-ups:

Twine and Fiskars border punch

AC vinyl Thickers and twine wrapped around mats and pic

I love how this turned out!
Hope y'all play along too!!!

Well the time is almost here. Creative Scrappers is coming to a temporary stop. They are taking a leave of absence, but will keep the site up from what I read.
