Bubbles - 6/28

My Scraps & More is hosting their 3rd Annual Got Talent crop. It's a summer long crop. Each week there will be a different challenge. So for the 3rd challenge, you were to use the ombre effect as your background. I absolutely found the perfect paper for this challenge. It came in my May kit from the Paper Bakery. I also used a Sketch from Nuts about Sketches to help with this page. I love how it turned out!

Snowballs - 6/17

It's Monday again!!! Time for another LGS Sketch!!! This one is so much fun. I actually used a journal square instead of the 2 tiny pics. I was at a crop and didn't have the pics to put there so I improvised! lol. I enjoy going to crops because it definitely helps me to get my DT stuff done. Just wish there were more around here.

A few months ago, I discovered that one of my fellow LGS DT members just so happens to live about 30 min from me!!! She invited me over to her monthly crop. It was so great to meet her and the ladies there. I even got to see how her Cameo worked. She cut these too cute clouds for me! I also made myself use one of my SC kits as well. Definitely a challenge for me. Be sure to check out Ashley's blog as well!!

Mother's Day - 6/15

Well it has been one of those crazy weeks.... I haven't had much time for scrapping this week, but I was able to get my DT page done for About A Girl! This was a tough one for me because I don't use a whole lot of bright colored papers. I prefer a more muted tone to my colors. But the great thing is, I joined the Paper Bakery Kit Club. I got their May kit in the mail last weekend and loved everything about it. Yes I was a little disappointed that it doesn't come with matching cardstock. This kit was so colorful and the flair was just awesome! I even used the washi tape from the packaging and the mason jar stamp as well.

Baby shower - 6/10

It's not my week to post on the blog, but I couldn't resist a sketch that helped me put a lot of pics on a page. I love the little film strip. Reminds of photo booths. This was great so that I could add pics of the baby shower onto this page. You can even use some of the strips for pattern papers or even journal.

The alphas are actually a pink metallic, but it's so hard to get a good pic of them even in the sunlight.

The Climb - 6/3

It's a new month over at Let's Get Sketchy!!! It's also Monday which means another great reveal! I love what everyone did with this weeks awesome sketch! We also have some new DT members revealing their first projects today too!

The girls and I took at trip to the USS Alabama a while back. They really enjoyed seeing the big Battleship along with the submarine and airplanes. It was a great trip. I'm finally getting around to scrapping those pics. I found an awesome Heidi Swapp paper pad at Michael's that works perfectly with it.

1st B-day Shop'n - 6/1

I am participating in a Slash Your Stash monthly challenge over at My Scraps & More. When I was looking thru my stash, I came to discover that I have 3 partially used EP Little Girl collection kits! I can't believe I have that much of the same paper and stickers!!! So I have decided to use this collection for my challenge this month. Which means that I can use it on my DT stuff as well. I am definitely going to use this paper up!

Well today is also the first challenge of June over at About a Girl!!! I have loved all the challenges so far. Haven't you?? I love how much participation we have in just the beginning month of this awesome new challenge blog. The great thing about challenge blogs is that you can use up your own stash!!!

So for this challenge.... you are to use a DOILY as your BACKGROUND. Well I only own 1 pack of Bo Bunny doilies, but didn't want to use them for this challenge. I decided to do something a little bit different. I used the silhouette of a doily. I cut the doily out of this paper and used it on another page a while back, but kept the scraps to use at a later time.

Here is my page:

Here is the original paper:
